Think Safety … Be Safe …

LOLER places duties on companies & persons who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment. It requires that all equipment used for lifting is fit for purpose, appropriate for the task, suitably marked, properly maintained and in most cases subject to STATUTORY & periodic ” THOROUGH EXAMINATION ”
RECORDS must be kept of these examinations.

So why not let our LOLER compliant examination service take the task of constantly monitoring & checking the condition of your lifting equipment off your desk and on to ours.

Our inspection service records are kept on line – the status of any item is immediately available ie:

GREEN – in compliance
AMBER – due inspection
RED – inspection overdue.

Each item has its own certificate available to you for immediate viewing, down load or attachment to any lifting plan or operation.

You can also attach and email any certification to any interested third party on site or any other location – so preventing any costly and avoidable down time on site due to certification issues & of course you can have printed copies as well.

Your Lifting Legal Obligations

The LOLER – Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations came in to action on December 5, 1998 under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The regulations apply to any workplace covered in the HSW Act and brings together two former pieces of legislation, The “Amending Directive to the Use of Work Equipment Directive (AUWED, 95/63/EC) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) to cover all main types of lifting equipment in the workplace.
